Little Lakes Valley is one of my favorite places to visit. It gets kinda crowded in the summer but if you go late enough in the day it clears out. On this day the crowds were especially light because it was raining on and off. I took this on my way back to the trailhead from a long hike to Treasure Lakes. I saw this lone wildflower in the meadow and it lured me in. The flower is called Sierra Lupine and it usually flourishes here in spring.

I made this photo by processing 1 RAW image twice and then blending them together.

i almost always use a polarizer and then i sometimes simulate a nd grad filter in photoshop.
